Three Professional Programs:

* Culinary Arts - full-time, 23-week culinary program, featuring a four-week study in France, (an integral part of the curriculum).

* Chef Track - 23-week, part-time evening program designed and taught by 10 - 16 top Colorado chefs/instructors.

* Pastry Arts - 23-day intensive program taught by top pastry chefs and  covering the essentials of pastry and baking.

Culinary School of the Rockies provides a student-focused, quality culinary education. We enroll just 16 students per program and offer an unsurpassed 8-to-1 student teacher/ratio. Curriculum objectives of our Professional Programs:

• Teach students the foundation of French cooking and/or baking so they can pursue a career in the culinary arts. · Enable students to develop the skills and confidence to cook or bake without recipes.

• Help students achieve their goals by providing individualized attention and allowing for differences in learning styles and educational background.

• Introduce students to the components of taste and flavor and enhance their ability to critically evaluate food.

• Focus on classic and contemporary techniques and cuisine and emphasizes sensory awareness.
