Sweet Basil Gourmetware & Cooking School offers a wide variety of recreational cooking classes year-around. Most of the classes offered at Sweet Basil are hands-on so you have the benefit of learning by doing. Demonstration classes are clearly noted in the descriptions in our quarterly schedules. (The current schedule is available on our Web site.) Each class includes a copy of the recipes & a meal of the foods prepared. Our core instructors are experienced, talented chefs whose goal is for you to be able to re-create at home what you learn during class. Sweet Basil also offers classes by guest chefs from noted Phoenix area restaurants and hotels. Our kitchen is spacious and provides a comfortable, fun environment for viewing demonstration classes and participating in hands-on classes. On the day of a class, students receive a 10% discount on Sweet Basil's large selection of cookware, books, tabletop and gourmet items.
