Lucy's Kitchen offers private gourmet cooking classes on a monthly and/or weekly basis. Students get hands-on experience in learning how to prepare the menu, hear about interesting culianry tidbits and stories about the dishes, and of course, all join together and enjoy lunch or dinner. Hands-on classes are offered year-round. Classes are taught either at Lucy's Kitchen or studdents' home kitchen. The average size of classes run from 6 to 8 students. Special classes with a personalized menu can be tailor-made for you. Lucy's Kitchen specializes in seasonal and ethnic menus. How to make Sushi, to Regional Italian or Noodles from China, are just some of the classes offered. Lucy Seligman brings over 14 years experience teaching the homecook how to create gourmet dishes with a minimum of fuss. She has lived in Japan for 13 years and published the only English-language culinary newsletter on Japanese cuisine for over 7 years. She has studied cooking in Paris, Tokyo, Nagoya, Bangkok, Florence, Umbria and Los Angeles.
