Suzen O'Rourke created Cooking by the Book in 1989 with the goal of bringing people together in a friendly, nurturing environment-the kitchen. Since then, it has become New York City's premier hands-on avocational cooking school.
Cooking by the Book hosts private culinary team-bonding and facilitated team-building events for corporate and private clients. Our programs allow the guests to participate in the cooking process alongside our culinary advisors as they prepare a three-course meal together. Typically, we require a minimum of 12 guests and a mazimum of 40 guests per event, the size may vary depending on the program selected.
