CONNECTICUT CULINARY INSTITUTE

The Connecticut Culinary Institute has been successfully training chefs since 1987. Small class size and hands-on training are the keys to our accelerated programs. The experienced, award-winning chef instructors take the time to make sure that each student has fully learned every area taught.

CCI has two campuses, the main school in Farmington, and a branch campus in Suffield, CT. The same programs are offered on both campuses. The first is the Advanced Culinary Arts Program, a comprehensive 15 month course including a paid externship. The second is the Professional Pastry and Baking Program, an 8 month course focusing exclusively the bakeshop and the pastry kitchen, which also includes a paid externship. (Both programs can be taken part time at night, for those who work during the day.)

There is plenty of housing available for students, and a complete financial aid system for those who qualify. Our placement office works with restaurants and hotels around the world to place students according to their career goals.
