On your quest to find the perfect culinary school, it is best to choose a location where you can learn a few things outside the culinary programs, not to mention have a little fun. Potential Seattle culinary students have a lot to look forward to if they choose to study in the Emerald City.

Seattle is a place where fresh seafood, lush greenery, urban sophistication, and rugged wilderness all converge to create a paradise for culinary students.

Seattle Culinary Schools: Beyond the Kitchen
Those who enroll in culinary schools in Seattle will soon learn why this Pacific Northwest locale is often called the Emerald City, for it is home to hundreds of parks, and the vegetation grows thick and green due to the amount of rain that falls in Seattle.

For budding "foodies," it will take a lot more than rain to prevent a stop at the legendary Pike Place Market. This 100-year-old Seattle landmark is as lively as ever, with vendors of all sorts of culinary delights sprawled across nine acres. It's where you'll find giant fish flying through the air--outside of water--as the seafood vendors are famous for tossing them around.

Culinary Arts and More in Seattle
In between classes at a culinary school, potential chefs may be found joining the rest of Seattle in any one of the city's many coffee shops. As for other indoor venues, the Seattle Art Museum and the Seattle Aquarium are great places to visit if it's just too wet to walk in the parks.

Consider Seattle on your quest to enroll in the right culinary program. The Pacific Northwest could be the perfect place for you and your culinary goals.
